Dunwoody
Lexus of Maplewood supports automotive career development by providing donations to the Dunwoody Program. We provide flexible schedules, and experience that enables students to work part time while balancing a school schedule. Upon graduation, several students become Village Automotive Group employees at any of our dealership locations. |

Get Your Rear in Gear
Lexus of Maplewood will be participating in a Company 5k Walk/Run on Sunday April 21st, 2013. The Get Your Rear in Gear event focuses on raising awareness about colon cancer in communities across the country. These events designed to unite people, cities and states throughout the USA; to provide support and hope for those who have had their lives affected by our nation’s second leading cause of cancer deaths, and encourages individuals of all ages to get screened. |

Hennepin County: Wellness By Design Award
Village Automotive Group is proud to have 350 plus employees, some of whom have experienced the growth and expansions of the organization since its beginning in 1950. In 2012 we were recognized by Hennepin County as a Gold Level Wellness by Design Award recipient.
"More than 500 Wellness by Design Awards have been presented over the past seven years to organizations that put special emphasis on creating and promoting healthy environments," said Gail Dorfman, Hennepin County Board commissioner. "As a major employer with more than 8,000 employees, Hennepin County knows what it takes to not only gain support for health promotion efforts within an organization but make them happen year after year like so many of our repeat Wellness by Design winners."
Village Automotive Group has had an active wellness program for four years. Our voluntary program offers rewards earned through wellness initiatives through biometric screenings; completion of preventive requirements; and additional credits earned through training and events. Successful completion of the wellness program not only gives employees the opportunity to expand their knowledge of a healthier lifestyle, it provides valuable prizes; competitive health plans and pricing. |

6th Annual BEAR'ly Open COMMUNITY DANCE |

Lexus of Maplewood is a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual BEAR'ly Open. For the 6th year in a row, you will find Lexus of Maplewood on site with our Lexus vehicles and serving up warm apple cider to support the golfers who have come out to raise $ for the White Bear Lake Emergency Food Shelf.

6th Annual BEAR'ly Open GOLF TOURNAMENT on ICE
When: February 2, 2013 | Noon - 4 PM
Where: Ramsey County Beach, White Bear Lake
Don't miss the annual 'BEAR'ly' Open Golf Tournament on Ice Community Dance, which takes place on the evening before the golf tourney on ice. The cost for the dance is $10 and all proceeds go to the Food Shelf. Come join the fun!
This event is coordinated by the White Bear Lake Rotary Club and White Bear Events as a fundraiser for the White Bear Lake Emergency Food Shelf.

 | | TASTE OF STILLWATER July 14th, 2012
Lexus of Maplewood is the proud vehicle sponsor of the 2012 Taste of Stillwater. Over 2,000 guests will be hosted on the beautiful grounds of Saint Croix Vineyards and Aamodt's Apple Farm. Join in on the many activities include listening to live music, enjoying the beer and wine tastings and food from local restaurants, and shop the artisan booths or tour the vineyard. This year the Taste of Stillwater and their partners are teaming up with Valley Outreach a community-based, non-profit organization of Stillwater that has been feeding hungry neighbors since 1983 and assisting in need neighbors with basic services and emergency financial assistance since 2005. A portion of the Taste of Stillwater ticket sales will go to benefit this local charity and the Stillwater community. Wish Ball 2012
Lexus of Wayzata and Lexus of Maplewood are excited to partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation at its Wish Ball this year. The evening was a tremendous success. The Wish Ball, held on the evening of March 3, 2012, was a magical and fabulous evening for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. More than 800 of Make-A-Wish® supporters came together in a celebration of 30 years of wishes come true. Guests enjoyed a fabulous gourmet dinner and the soul-stirring sounds of The Steeles, Minnesota's first family of gospel and soul. The spacious Saint Paul RiverCentre was filled with rows of one-of-a-kind silent auction items. Of note were the Monique Lhullier Fashion Week Runway Show, a 2012 Polaris TV 550 Sportsman and wish-inspired necklace designed by wish child Kennedy and Sara Beth Goldfine of SBG Designs. The highlight of the evening was wish child Kennedy's dazzling ballet performance with the Saint Paul City Ballet. Kennedy's wish to meet real ballerinas came true last December. Learn more about Kennedy and how her wish to meet real ballerinas gave her joy and illuminated some of her darkest days in her video story. Guests offered their generous support of this year's Wish Ball helping raise approximately $650,000 to help grant more wishes for Minnesota children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Lexus of Maplewood and Hybrid Customers Give Back
Lexus of Maplewood is excited about the new Hybrid Gives Back Program. Starting in August 2012 we have partnered with Ramsey County Parks and Recreation to help preserve over 6,500 acres of land which consists of six regional parks, nine county parks, nine protected open space sites and five golf courses. When a customer purchases a Lexus Hybrid vehicle at Lexus of Maplewood, we will plant a mature tree or shrub on their behalf in the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation areas. To date this partnership has resulted in about 73 new trees for a donation of over $1800 to Ramsey County Parks and Recreation. The tree or shrub we plant will last for generations, provide beauty, help clean the air and restore wildlife habitat. We appreciate our customers eco-friendly awareness that allows us to give back to the environment. Stop in today and ask about our Hybrid Gives Back Program.
